Become a Watch Committee Volunteer

Who we are looking for

There is a whole range of volunteer work available at First Nations Deaths in Custody Watch Committee Inc. In particular, we are interested in the support of anyone who shares the aims of the Watch Committee and has skills in:

·   Office administration

o  Data entry

o  Database maintenance

·   Writing

o  Newsletter

o  Website content

o  Content for our social media channels

·   Legal skills

o Legal research

o Submission writing

·   IT and website development

·   Events and Marketing

o  Support with event organisation

o  Support with fundraising activities and grants

o  Brainstorm new marketing materials

All volunteers need to hold individual membership of First Nations Deaths in Custody Watch Committee Inc. A membership form can be downloaded from our website: www.deathsincustody.org/content/membership

First Nations people and people with lived experience of prison or the juvenile justice system are encouraged to apply.
